About the Webinar
The webinar will cover the topics of the illegal cigarette market using social media, as well as trends in the market of alternative tobacco products (e-cigarettes, vapes, heated tobacco).
As the smuggling of cigarettes on social media poses a big problem for society, several strategies for addressing this issue will be elaborated on from an intelligence, technological and psychological perspective by Constantin Plamadeala.
In the second part, Maris Juruss will address risks associated with the growth of the illegal market of alternative tobacco products, as well as illegal cross-border trade in the single market of the European Union, given that the excise tax for these new products is still not harmonised in the EU.
